Catskill Animal Sanctuary is located in Saugerties, NY, two hours north of New York City, in the heart of the Hudson Valley. Started in 2001, CAS works to:

• Provide a safe and loving haven for abused, abandoned, and neglected horses and farm animals
• Raise awareness of how farm animals are treated, and how this impacts us and the environment
• Serve as an educational resource to schools, youth organizations, and other community organizations, through on- and off-site programs

Since it was started, CAS has provided refuge for over 1,500 desperately needy farm animals: horses, cows, goats, sheep, donkeys, pigs, rabbits, turkeys, chickens, ducks and geese!
