About the Lighthouse

Built in 1869, the Saugerties Lighthouse is a beautifully preserved historic landmark sitting on a rocky outcrop where Esopus Creek meets the Hudson River. Decommissioned in 1954 and restored by the Saugerties Lighthouse Conservancy, it now serves as a museum and unique bed & breakfast.
